Are you fans of Pacman? Did you know that today (22nd May) is Pacman 30 year’s anniversary? Pacman is one of my favourite childhood games. I still remember the sweet moment playing Pacmac in Yaohan (one of the biggest Japanese store), Brunei.

Today, Google has changed its homepage logo to a fully playable Pacman game. The design comes alone with single player and double player. If you wish to play double, remember insert your coin

Pacman is an arcade game which developed by Namco. The first released was in Japan on May 22, 1980. Pacman has become one of the longest running video game since 1980.

Google Chrome Extension – StayFocusd

Good day everybody. Have you ever spending hour and hour’s in-front of your computer doing unproductive internet surfing?

I found this interesting plug-in for my Google Chrome browser. This plug-in basically help you stay focused on your work by restricting the amount of time you can spend browsing time-wasting websites. You may choose to restrict any website or web-page you want.

For example your favorite social web, Facebook. You know and you are fully aware that you have tons is homework or office works pending for you to do or final exam ahead. However, you couldn’t limit yourself accessing to Facebook checking on your friend’s status, get addicted playing on Facebook games etc. What you need to do is limit your accessing time to these website or completely restrict it.

Here are the installation steps:-
1. Proceed to StayFocusd homepage.
2. Click on the “Install” button.

3. A StayFocusd logo should appear on the top right of your bookmark bar.
4. Go to the website you wish to set time restriction (default is 10 mins)

5. You may choose to block entire website or just certain web-page.
6. You are done! A countdown timer shall start immediately.

Hover to “Setting” anytime if you would like to amend the restriction time. Please put extra precaution on “The Nuclear Option”. Once you have set it, there is no way for you to cancel it.

7 Google Search Techniques to Help You Find Information More Easily

You intend make information search in Google search engine, then you enter a keyword or sentences in Google search box. The returned results display millions. Are you going to browse through one by one or page by page?

Here are some useful phrases or symbols you may use in Google search box to narrow down or broaden your search and give more accurate search by combining keywords, phrases or terms.

1. Use of Square Brackets ( [ ] )
Example:
[Black Dog] is one query.
[Black] [Dog] is two queries.
[Black Dog] represent one sentences, means Google will display the words that contain “Black Dog” only. While [Black] [Dog] will display the terms of “Black” and “Dog”.

2. Use of Double Quotes ( “” )
Putting double quote in a set of words, you are actually telling Google to extract words in that exact order without any change.
Example:
[“Simon George”] (with quotes)

3. Specific Website ( site: )
To specify certain website define by your query.
Example:
[Google Wave Overview site:simonlwc.com] (with quotes)
[Health site:.gov]
[University site:.edu]

4. Use of Wildcard or Asterisk ( * )
By using wildcard/asterisk is to procurator for any unknown term and find the best match.
Example:
[Canon Powershot SX20 *]

5. Use of plus ( + / AND )
Attaching a plus sign or AND word will actually telling Google to match exactly as typed.
Example:
[+mount kinabalu]
[+“sabah mount kinabalu”]
marketing + internet
marketing AND internet

6. Use of Exclude ( – / NOT )
Attaching a minus sign or NOT word is used to exclude certain aspects from the search result. You may exclude as many words as you want.
Example:
[Malaysia –petronas]
[Malaysia –f1 –sepang –KLIA –hotel]
marketing – retailing
marketing NOT retailing

7. Use of ( OR )
Use “OR” when your search result is too little. This will broaden your search and increase the amount of information you find.
Example:
[Aircraft OR Airplane]
e-business OR e-commerce

What is Google Wave?

Google Wave is an online tool for real-time communication and collaboration. Overall concept for Google Wave is designed to merge email, instant messaging, wikis and social networking. Some people have claim that Google Wave is an ideal platform for teaching and learning. Let us see how Preview Version of Google Wave works.

Nor though Google Wave has the features to perform discuss and work together using richly formatted text, photos, video, maps and etc. However, in this Preview Version of Google Wave, only limited features are granted such as using text and map.

In a wave, any participant can reply anywhere in the message, edit the content and add participants at any point in the process. Wave able to playback and lets anyone rewind the wave to see who said what and when. The good thing was Wave come with a live transmission as what you has type. Participants on a wave can have faster respond to your conversations as they can foresee what is yours intention, see edits and interact with extensions in real-time.

How I Get Invited
