Why not do it the other way round... Pointing your own domain back to your blogspot. Whenever people access via your new domain, it will automatic route back to your blogspot.

In order to achieved this, your should given a Web Portal from your domain registrar to manage all these. Which mean there is an option inside the portal, allow you to point back to your blogspot. If Web Portal is not given, you may request your domain name reseller help you to manage the point back.
